It is informed that the Faculty of Design and Architecture in collaboration with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Office (Research and Innovation) will conduct courses such as the following details: -

                             (Technology Transfer and Commercialization Division of R & D (PTK), Putrajaya

3. The objective of the course is to provide participants with exposure, knowledge and skills on intellectual property protection as well as measures for product commercialization. Participants also have the opportunity to understand more clearly about the importance, the filing procedure and the potentially commercialized products.

4. In this regard, we would like to invite the appropriate Academic Officer / Research Officer / Student / Staff to participate in this course. Hopefully with the presence of YBhg. Dato '/ Datin / Prof./ Sir / Mrs can generate long-term investment in the production of quality intellectual property in UPM.

Referring to the above information via info.upm.edu.my, someone may ask when does the 8th week actually start ?. Would like to clarify here that we have not changed the Academic Calendar of the Second Semester 2020/2021. The 8th week still starts on May 17, 2021 but all PdP is conducted online except for students who have returned to campus last March. Groups of students who are requested to return to the Serdang campus for PdP F2F starting 27 May 2021 and require on -campus accommodation will have to undergo isolation starting 17 May 2021; if the student is late he or she can only attend PdP F2F after completing 10 days of isolation.
