Kuala Lumpur, June 30th - Seven architecture students from the Faculty of Design and Architecture had participated in the E-Volution: Speculative Design Time Capsule Workshop held at the PAM Centre, Jalan Tandok, Kuala Lumpur. The workshop was organized by Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) in conjunction with the event Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF) 2019. It was attended by lecturers and students from 10 local architectural schools in Malaysia together with the international participation from two Indonesian architectural schools, Universiti Gadjah Mada (UGM) and Universiti Islam Indonesia (UII).

This E-Volution workshop aims to encourage speculative design exploration among architectural students while addressing challenges and opportunities for the future. Throughout the three days of the workshop, several activities have been conducted following the five themes:

1. E-Pitome: The theme highlights speculative exploration among the students through portable box design and exhibition works.
2. E-Pilogue: Several guests are invited to give talk and share their thoughts with the students.
3. E-Lusive: The theme emphasizes the speculative design of future cities through 2D and 3D conceptual art.
4. E-Nigmatic: The theme encourages speculative expression through multimedia creativity like digital photography and video experimentation.
5. Ex-Plicit: This theme explores speculative idea among the students through fashion design and ergonomic wearable accessories.
