Synopsis :

 Visual Culture Group explores the centrality of vision and visuality in producing meanings, values, ethics and power relations within culture. The exploration is conducted with a perspective that the visual artefacts such as drawings, maps, advertising, films, multimedia, apps, art works and buildings play a pivotal role in shaping the way we conceive, imagine, territorialize and adapt with the environments. From this perspective, the multidisciplinarity of critical theory, intellectual history and visual inquiry is deployed in order to investigate such a role. Thus the Visual Culture Group seeks any types of collaboration that may enhance the significance of vision and visuality in the comprehension of society and reality
