December 29, 2021, Serdang - A Prize Giving Ceremony by Syarikat UDA Holdings Berhad was held physically at Galeri Serdang, Faculty of Design and Architecture (FRSB) UPM. The Prize Giving Ceremony is for the winners of the Putra Tower Competition which has been held previously.

The presentation of prizes was presented by Puan Radziah Mohd Fadzil, Head of Corporate Communications of UDA Holdings Berhad, and witnessed by the Dean of the Faculty of Design and Architecture, Prof. Madya LAr. Dr. Suhardi Maulan. The competition involved nine (9) groups of students from Year 4 Master of Architecture who had explored the concept of Built to Rent (Built to Rent) development in a high -density development design project.

The first place winner was won by Homosapiens Group and received a cash prize of RM2,000.00, the second place was won by Warnaa Group with cash amounting to RM1,500.00 while the third place was won by TBC Group and received cash amounting to RM1,000.00.

This competition project is led by Prof. Prof. Dr. Mohamad Fakri Zaky bin Ja’afar, from the Department of Architecture, FRSB, UPM which took place from January to May 2020. The project presentation and judging was held on 13 May 2020.
