Dean's Message

Welcome to the Faculty of Design and Architecture or FRSB, Universiti Putra Malaysia.  Since 1996, FRSB has played significant role in developing and expanding knowledge in the field of design and architecture, especially towards sustainable development for the prosperity of humanities and the nation. 

FRSB in its age spanning over a quarter of a century is committed to moving forward and becoming the best.  It can certainly be achieved with the cooperation of all entities involved, FRSB staff, students, community, and industry.  To ensure the planning is organized, the faculty has planned the FRSB Strategic Plan 2021-2025 in formulating new strategies and initiatives.

However, there is still much room for improvement.  Therefore, I call on all potential students, alumni, researchers and community and industry friends to join us in accelerating the development of design and architecture knowledge.  “One faculty, one heartbeat” for prosperity and universal humanity.
