FRSB Teaching and Learning Talk Series 01/2021 was successfully implemented virtually on 12 March 2021 and watched live by 53 academic staff and students from several faculties at UPM. The invited panel for this first series is Prof. Prof. Dr. Hamdan bin Daniyal who is the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical & Electronic Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP).

The title of his partnership is "Lightboard Approach for Studio-Based Teaching & Learning" and assisted by Moderator Dr. Mohd Shahrudin Abd Manan, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Design and Architecture.Dr Hamdan has introduced a method of learning and teaching using lightboard. This lightboard facility is very interesting and interactive especially for hands-on courses such as courses taught in the studio at FRSB.In addition, he also shared some tips in using this lightboard approach as well as the cost to provide this lightboard facility.

The essence of this talk is very much in line with the current situation where we are aware that face -to -face learning is very limited and most schools and institutions use online learning techniques. The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the whole world has made our educators more creative and innovative in imparting knowledge and one of them is through the methods that have been presented by Dr. This Hamdan.
