On 25 February 2021, FRSB organized an online e-portfolio review session involving the involvement of external evaluators, internal evaluators, course lecturers and also FRSB students. This session involved the Department of Landscape Architecture, the Department of Architecture and the Department of Industrial Design.

The objective of this session is to evaluate the achievement of design courses offered at the respective departmental levels. This online portfolio session, for the first time, was held following the mobility control scheme (PKP) enforced by the government to control and break the network of covid-19 viruses that plagued the country at the time of this writing.

For the e-portfolio session at the departmental level, 3 panel of evaluators from the industry were invited, namely Lar. Wan Mohd Hatta Wan Abdullah (Shapakat Consultants), Lar. Ragubalan Bashkaran (Verde Arte Consultancy) and LAr. Mohd Raduan Mohd Daud (Walrus Design Sdn. Bhd). The session began with a briefing by the Head of Department Associate Prof Dr Mohd Fairuz Shahidan, and was followed by a panel session of evaluators listening to the presentation of teaching and learning (PdP) of course achievements by the lecturers. At the end of the session, assessors had the opportunity to interact with students online to obtain feedback related to teaching and learning issues, especially the teaching of online courses following the implementation of PKP 2.0 by the Government. On the occasion of this session as well, the industry had the opportunity to share some of their professional experience in dealing with the working environment in the new norm.

Hopefully, the sharing of the experience, will be an inspiration to students to move forward to continue their ambitions to become Professional Landscape Architects who contribute to the development of society and the country one day.
